The “Great Daxby” Wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate

Born out of the bride’s love for 1920 style, the wedding of Tiffany Styles and Michael Dax had a color scheme of ivory, gold and black with the flowers adding a soft, feminine touch in shades of blush and champagne. Tiffany was a true striking beauty in her gold sequin gown, accented with an array of gold and glam accessories, including a fur stole. With her timeless beauty, she looked as if she stepped right out of the Prohibition Era. Michael complimented his bride in a dapper, classic black tuxedo. Each of the bridesmaids selected an individual style to fit into the Art Deco style. The bride encouraged guests to embrace the Roaring 20s by accenting their attire in period fashion and accessories. The decor and accents throughout the wedding included vintage pieces of furniture and accessories, including church pews, a wooden  love seat, dresser, etc. The first dance too place under the glow of a large chandelier, and guests sipped on signature cocktails that included an Old Fashion and a Bramble. A typical tired wedding cake would not due, so a play of the 1920s Speakeasy, the Daxby Sweet Easy was created that featured a varied of desserts for the guests to indulge … no password required.
