Expressions of Playfulness, Lightheartedness, Sincerity and Joy Courtney and Rob tried to incorporate their favorite characteristics of each other in every detail of their wedding. They wanted their day to be timeless, yet reflect a moment in their lives. Courtney’s love and passion for art and art history, dictated their choice of venue, the Ringling Museum and Ca’ d’Zan. Rob, who is a composer for TV and film, created an original score for Courtney to walk down the aisle.

As a young girl, Courtney dreamed of having her wedding at the Ringling and Ca’ d’Zan. The happy couple gazed into each other’s eyes at the first dance; The table and décor incorporated a palm frond motif, as it reflected the wedding location and the couples’ current residence, Los Angeles; The original score to walk down the aisle was cathartic, sweet, and profound, and perfectly executed by the incredible string quartet, Via Musica; The wedding cakes and other décor including the photo booth, selfie backdrop, and place settings incorporated the palm frond motif.
